Free Personalized Travel Map

Tuesday December 27, 2005
There's something about a graphical representation that just makes things seem official. Perhaps the seeming legitimacy of a visual aid stems from the hundreds of stats graphs and pie charts we viewed in school.

Chart your student travel with a cool tool from World66.com -- create a personalized world travel map like the one shown here. You can add your map to your own website and update it as countries drop. Your goal: turn the world red.

An alternative travel tool is available at http://www.unearthtravel.com . This allows a user to map a whole trip visually in a particularly clear manner.

Cool idea…
though most still prefer a wallmounted map w/pins.
