You know things worth telling. What are the best places in the world to swim sans duds? Refuge Cove, Wilsons Promontory, Victoria (Australia), Palmižana Island, Hvar (Croatia), and Los Caños de Meca (Andalucia), according to a 2005 Lonely Planet Bluelist, "Sensational Skinny Dipping." Got your own Bluelist? Lonely Planet wants to publish it.

What can you write about? What's up in your hometown? If you live in Memphis, you could list the best dives near Beale Street. Dallas resident? And with each Bluelist, you have a chance to be published by Lonely Planet.

• Search Bluelists by travel keywords or locations like Dubrovnik, scuba, goth, Bangkok and trek. I found a cool hostel or two through Bluelists from contributors like you. These lists are up-to-date recordings of the hippest, strangest, coolest, newest stuff about which student travelers want to know.

When you contribute a Bluelist for fellow student travelers' edification, you can also enter a Lonely Planet travel writing competition; three winners will tour Shanghai with a Lonely Planet writer for a week and, upon return, have a chance to write commissioned travel content for LonelyPlanet.com.
