Women Travelers' Dress in Islamic Countries

Sunday February 12, 2006
Lots of questions lately on women's dress in Iran -- women travelers want to know what to wear. Get the info you need on how to dress in Iran, like clothing color (doesn't have to be dark), what to wear on your head (just a scarf or hat mostly covering your hair), how much of your body must be covered (no bare arms or legs) and about your feet (sandals and bare toes are okay). Read words of wisdom for women travelers from other women regarding dress in Islamic countries and womens' Muslim clothing. Stay safe but don't stay home -- enjoy your trip!
