How to Find International Calling Codes

Saturday February 18, 2006
International calling codes, or country codes, are digits that must be dialed to reach a telephone number in another country. If you want to call Cordoba, Spain, for instance, you must dial 34 (the country code), 957 (the city code), followed by the phone number.

Find international calling codes by country and city (city codes are similar to area codes) before you leave home -- jot the calling codes for countries you will be visiting into your itinerary. Find some resources on how pay for international phone calls, too.
