Mexico Tourist Cards

With passports in the news again, it's a good time to talk about travel documents you'll need for visiting Mexico if it's on your winter break horizon. Key is a tourist card -- and I must confess I neglected to get one on a Mexico trip. Technically, I was in the country without legal documentation and could have faced quite a hassle factor and a fine that seemed to vary by report, though I wound up paying just $40, more along the lines of what you can expect to pay if you lose a Mexico tourist card. Learn from my bad example -- get your Mexico tourist card on the plane or at the border and then, of course, try not to lose it.
