Better to Carry Than Burn

Friday November 3, 2006
I had some nice blisters jumping up after kayaking in the Brisbane River last week -- utter amateur that I am, keeping up with the brawny bloke manning the guide boat heated up my hands. I had the cure, though: Brave Soldier antiseptic ointment is the best travel first aid I've encountered. Beyond compare. I love this stuff -- I've used it on road rash, burns and cuts and I've walked countless miles despite some serious footsores after slavering 'em with this numbing, healing goo. I never travel without it and I've never had an infected ouchie with it -- guarding your borders with a tube of the comfrey/lidocaine mix might keep you comfy in any territory, too. Oh, and the blisters? Banished almost as soon as they reared their mean little heads.
