Find International New Year's Eve Parties

Wednesday December 27, 2006
Just about everybody on the planet is celebrating something at year end -- winter solstice and the Chinese new year celebrations bracket Western new year's celebrations on the calendar, and every country and nationality has some kind of December shindig.

Check out year end customs from around the world here or find specific info on international New Year's Eve parties and celebrations like Hogmanay in Edinburgh, Fremont Street in Las Vegas and fireworks in Sydney (and what's up with that red underwear in Rome?). Rio, Amsterdam, Oaska and New York, too. Happy New Year, revelers!
