Hogmanay Cancelled

The BBC has reported that gale winds have caused Edinburgh's Hogmanay, Scotland's huge New Year's Eve street event and one of the world's biggest New Year's Eve parties, to be cancelled. The Biggar bonfire, one of many UK New Year's Eve events cancelled because of weather, has been moved to New Year's Day at 9:00 p.m., which gives those still planning to be excessively hoggish a bit of time to look up hangover cures...
