STA Student Travel Summer Internship Open

Thursday March 1, 2007
Ginormous student travel agency STA is on the prowl for an intern to blog and broadcast ten weeks' worth of work and adventure abroad this summer, with a job description aimed at showcasing what STA and its partner vendors can offer student travelers. The chosen one will volunteer in a Chinese conservation project with i-to-i, tour Europe (focus on London and Rome) and Australia for six weeks with outfits like Intrepid (with whom you can win European trips right now, incidentally), and spend a week each in Thailand and Costa Rica. Pay is typically internship -- nada, but expenses are covered. The winning traveler-to-be will shoot vids and photos, interview fellow travelers, blog and podcast the experience from the road, and certainly learn a lot about what the harried-but-awesome life of a travel media type would be like.

You: 18-26 years old and studying at an accredited American university, outgoing and articulate, Web 2.0/tech savvy, strong writing skills. Upload a resume and vid by April 7th, 2007 and get a passport for a June departure!
