Megabus Rolls to West Coast

Megabus, a cheapo daily bus service based in Scotland that brought a popular Euro form of discount transport to the Midwest US in April with bus rides for as little as a buck, starts West coast routes August 8. Western cities served by the megacheap bus will include Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Oakland, San Diego, San Francisco and San Jose (Vegas for a buck?!). The limited luggage, stationless cruisers have proven as popular with 18-30 year olds as we predicted, and the company says it's attracting US "silver surfers," too. Learn more:

If you like Megabus, you should check out BusJunction. It’s a search engine for discount bus tickets and includes all the major lines like Mega, Bolt, Vamoose, and Greyhound.
