like Contiki Tours and Intrepid Travel for six weeks this summer, seeing 14 countries (including Spain, Croatia, New Zealand, Argentina, Galapagos Islands, and Vietnam) on four continents and reporting back on it all via vids, photos, a blog and podcasts. Runner-up Kristen Delmonte chooses between Hong Kong and Sydney for six weeks.
If you'd like to be the next STA intern and you're 18-26 years old, studying at an accredited American university and Web 2.0/tech savvy with strong writing skills, you'll have a chance to upload a resume and video application for 2009 at STA in November or December. Pay is zippo, but expenses are covered, and that's a lot of expenses -- the winner will see a big piece of the planet. Check it all out:
