The sun's shining on many fantastic feet of snow here in the Rocky Mountains (I can vouch for the amounts of white stuff from my own Rocky Mountain high window), meaning it's a fine time to head this way, especially if you're on spring break. How's this grab you: grab a student airfare to Denver
(or have a look at a current Airtran sale with fares to Denver or Airfare Watchdog's Denver page) and take the ski train to Colorado's Winter Park, where there's plenty of apres-everything or, if you prefer the bright lights, big city thing, it's just a short (and fun) hop back to LoDo (Denver's hip lower downtown, where the Amtrak station is home to the ski train). Or ride a regular Amtrak train to Glenwood Springs, just down the road from all-that Aspen.
