What crisis?

Loved this report from Reuters regarding Thailand's latest political upheaval, titled: "Crisis? What crisis, ask backpackers in Bangkok"... reminds us that we are the most easygoing travelers around. It also reminds us, though, to remember to check US government travel warnings and alerts for spots we're visiting: neither exists for Thailand at the moment, but there are both for places we'd like to visit soon... in which case a traveler must make his/her own decision (we'll be going to Haiti, Mexico and Colombia, for instance, despite travel alerts and warnings). So what are travel alerts and warnings? Learn more:

Above all, don't overly worry about travel safety, and enjoy the journey!
