Graduation Gift Idea: Travel Journal

Wednesday May 20, 2009
"Talking" to a journal, whether electronic or paper, connects a traveler with home while on a train or in a hostel bunk -- give the paper kind of travel journal as a graduation gift and glue a picture of the two of you or the backpacker's family onto the inside back cover, and travelers can take a piece of home on the road. Or get a travel journal with a case, tuck a prepaid European phone card into the pocket and write your number in the journal's contact section. This graduation gift search can be as easy as a trip to a superstore (read more about travel journals as gifts...)

I have another recommendation to add! I just bought this book “Young Guns” for my son who just graduated from college. I got it on amazon.com but you can probably get it at any major bookstore. My son is SO LAZY but after he read this he realized what it takes to become successful. Now, he’s taking initiative, being proactive, and working his way up! I recommend this book :)
