Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Wednesday August 1, 2007
Seemingly staid Scotland starts showing its wild side when Edinburgh's fantastic Fringe Festival, still the finest fringe around, kicks off three weeks worth of entertainment this Saturday. Imitated by many and surpassed by none, Edinburgh's Fringe is the biggest arts festival on the planet (28,014 performances in 2006 according to About.com's Ferne Arfin) and it will be plenty packed with people: before you go (and you should go), check Ferne's guide to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and know when, where and how. And enjoy -- truly, madly deeply.
