- Bus - You can take the Coachtrans shuttle bus to Bunk -- $11 one way or $18 roundtrip. Coachtrans Shuttle is a regular bus running between the airport and Brisbane City; goes directly to the Brisbane Transit Centre and various hotels and hostels, including the Bunk or nearby Rome Street Station, where you can call the hostel for a free pickup. You can buy a Coachtrans ticket at the Coachtrans customer service counters near baggage carousels at Qantas and Virgin or at outside immigration. More info -- see the Coachtrans website.
- Train - Take the Airtrain ($12 Australian) to Brunswick Street station and walk three blocks south and west to the corner of Ann and Gipps streets. You can also catch the Airtrain to Roma Street station and call the hostel for a free shuttle pickup from there. Airtrain train service stops at both international and domestic airport terminals four times an hour (see a timetable) and heads to five stops within Brisbane. Follow the signs in the airport to buy tickets at the Airtrain customer service desk, then prepare to hike a bit to the very windy platform.
