Ensure Your Debit Card Works Internationally
PIN Numbers - Will Yours Work Worldwide?

By , About.com Guide

A fellow traveler, Jocelyn from California, advises: "...about ATM PIN codes: not only do 'foreign' ATM's not accept PIN's longer than four digits, but they often don't have a 0 button ('zero'), or won't accept PIN's that start in 0 ('zero'). So if you can, go to your bank before your trip and change your pin to four digits that don't include zero." Thanks, Jocelyn!
