Guide Review - Cabela's Men's Travel Shirt
It's a winner. Soft, sturdy cotton treated in some mysterious way to dry quickly. 30+ ultraviolet sun protection built in, too. Air conditioned, with big back and shoulder vents. It's your kinda shirt.Pockets upon pockets
I inadvertently tested the advertised stain-resistant finish with some fresh papaya juice, which stayed beaded until I could wipe the moisture away. Very trick. I (also unintentionally) gave the pockets a real workout in the Mexico City airport, where I stuffed them with passport, boarding pass, phrasebook, fistfuls of pesos and reading glasses, despite all the available pockets in my cargo pants, backpack, wallet, passport holder... oh, and lipbalm in the very handy small zippered pocket atop one of the bellow pockets (atop one of the big zippered pockets). This shirt is like one of those boxes with boxes nested inside boxes.
Extra special secret feature
The stand-up fold on the collar is too cool. While the rest of the button-down collar lays there, looking deceptively normal, the back turns up seperately to protect your neck.
