Street food near the Parque San Francisco

The Parque San Francisco (San Francisco Park) is home to a lovely old cathedral and is the spot to grab a coffee, fresh churros (above) or burrito from a street vendor, or walk north half a block to La Chata restaurant, across the street from the stately Hotel Morales, for a wonderful breakfast of chilequiles and hot chocolate. Three blocks south is the homey Hostel de Maria and Guadalajara's historic city venter is a few blocks north. Pickup the tequila bus (yep, bus to Tequila and tequila tasting) in the Parque San Francisco, too.
