Hostel de Maria Rooms
Rooms at the hostel are named after local towns like Tlaquepaque and Chapala; five 4-8 bed dorms and two private rooms. Two sunny and very clean bathrooms offer constant hot water; private rooms have pleasant, tiled, private 3/4 baths and working televisions with satellite and remotes.

- Directions: The hostel is between Colon Street and General Rio Deco Street. Follow Calle de Colon south about ten blocks from the cathedral in Guadalajara's centro and take a right on Nueva Galicia (middle of the block beside small plaza), or follow large Avenue 16 de Septiembre and take a left on Nueva Galicia (about two blocks through narrow street).
