Mexico People in Ten Mexico Photos

By , About.com Guide

Entrepeneurs are not too prevalent at Pie de la Cuesta outside Acapulco; this rider sells a few turns on his horse, though.

Buskers are everywhere on Mexico beaches, although some restaurants and resorts keep them from crossing onto "their" sand, and sometimes have some truly cool things to sell among the thongs and jewelry. Most are very friendly folk who will eventually take "no" for an answer, and one has to admire their determination and inventiveness. This fellow was selling horseback rides (about $1 per minute) on the beautiful and quiet beach in front of the La Brisa de Oro restaurant at Pie de la Cuesta.

Pie de la Cuesta is about ten miles north of Acapulco and light years from the noisy bustle of Acapulco beaches. Ask the bartender at La Brisa de Oro to fix you a fresh coconut if you go.
