Hotel Calafia, Baja, Mexico
The Hotel Calafia is a should-see while you're in Baja's Rosarito Beach, and a quiet place to stay. Parking's a pain, but the deck restaurant offers a great view down the coast and some dyno dishes, the interior restaurant holds pieces from the Titanic movie set (filmed at nearby Fox Studios), and the joint houses a great mini-museum of pre-Hispanic local artifacts and offers lots facts about old area missions. Stop in at Rosarito Beach's Hotel Calafia for lunch or drinks and a browse.
