Once a week, I attend a Spanish conversation group in an attempt to improve my lame lingo, and we used this photo to learn not only the names of kinds of Mexican candy, but more about obscure-to-us Mexican candy favorites with secrets, like boxes with hidden reserves of caramel. What a sweet treat trying the Mexican candy in this Rosarito Beach Baja candy store was. And as elsewhere in Baja, there really aren't local Baja specialties, so you'll be sampling sugary stuff from all over Mexico.
