7/24/2005: America's golden boy brings it on home - Armstrong's seventh Tour de France win is bittersweet for fans as his retirement means he's hanging up the yellow jersey forever. So long, Lance. You're the man.

Answer: With American cyclist Lance Armstrong going for a record seventh consecutive win in the Tour de France 2005, the world's greatest bike race will be watched by more spectators than at any time in its 101 year history. Where will you watch the drama and magic of the Tour de France unfold? Even if you make it to Europe, you'll only see a small segment of le Tour unless you're traveling in a team car or with a guided tour following the racers. The best place to watch the Tour de France 2005 may well be on TV whether from your couch, a pub or the sidewalk in Europe (see accompanying photo).

If you can't watch the race on TV, check out some web sites that offer continual Tour de France updates and videos.

They show live coverage of the Tour there every day. The Hotel de Ville is (on) Quai de Gesvres, just across the river (to the North) from Notre Dame."
