A darling pedestrians-only area near the Soho intersection of Regent Street and Oxford Street in central London, Carnaby Street is more than a street. Shops and cafes line the wide walkways and no-car intersections; buy duds from Diesel jeans to antique hippie wear on London's Carnaby Street. A very sweet little coffee shop called Sacred (13 Ganton Street) is a good place to rest your shopping-tired tootsies while having a cardamom-flavored cup of Thai coffee with condensed milk (it's delish).

Look for All Saints, BE.YOU#[K], Chilli Pepper, Michiko Koshino, Marshmallow Mountain, Punky Fish, Raygun and (especially on Friday afternoons) hip-hop spot Deal Real.
