Cancun's got two distinct areas -- the Cancun hotel zone and main city of Cancun (read more about how Cancun is laid out). If you choose a spring break package from a spring break tour operator, you'll very likely be staying in Cancun's hotel zone, where the wildness never sleeps and where you'll meet roughly one zillion other students on spring break, doing the late-late-late night thing. If you stay in Cancun's main city area, you can choose from moderately priced hotels without, for instance, swim-up bars, but with some of the Mexico charm you'll come to love, or a Cancun hostel (very cool).- Learn What to Expect From Cancun Spring Break Tour Operators
