From the article: Airport Security Rules
Airport security is a royal pain in the packing process, no doubt about it. Difficulties abound, from trying to pack tiny toiletries to tossing too big toothpaste tubes, to passengers partially stripping, to going virtually naked through TSA xray machines (the full body imaging scanners. What's the worst part of airport security for *you*? What do you hate most about airport security? Do all these airport security rules truly make you safer, or invade your privacy too much? Sound off below: no need to (really) register or log in. Sound Off!
Three ounce toiletries
- ... has got to be the stupidest part of airport security. There must be a million ways to get liquid onto an airplane. If someone wanted to be sneaky about it, they could figure it out, or they could probably do something with the amount of liquid you can get in a sandwich bag. It seems like that is an over reactionary that just penalizes ordinary citizens who just don't want to have to buy shampoo in the new place. I want to be safe too, but that one seems like it could be better thought out by the airport security.
