From the article: Best 9 Travel Websites for Finding Cheap Travel, Part 2
Couchsurfing, Hospitality Club, and GlobalFreeloaders are the best and biggest examples of hospitality networks wherein one stays with strangers in strange lands, and offers up one's own digs to those headed to your backyard. Each outfit has supporters and detractors, and for sometimes seemingly strikingly similar reasons. We've only Couchsurfed, and want to know: which is best -- Couchsurfing, Hospitality Club or GlobalFreeloaders? (Or, of course, something altogether different.) And why? No need to sign in to answer, but you do have to type 25 words or so to be published. TIA!
Which is best
- I prefer GlobalFreeloaders from the website perspective. As a host I can "block out" time so don't get bothered. As a guest I can send one email to multiple potential hosts. Much easier to work with. Hosts and guests are much the same for all but I think GlobalFreeloaders also has more older people who can offer better accommodation - spare rooms etc.
